Multi Media Filter
Multimedia filtration refers to a pressure vessel filter which utilizes three or more different media as opposed to a “sand filter” that typically uses one grade of sand alone as the filtration media. The purpose of multimedia filtration is same as sand filtration with enhanced performance.
Dual Media Filter
The term media filter, as applied to water treatment, refers to the removal of Suspended Solids from water. In most cases it is the last stage in the pretreatment of water for removal of un-dissolved impurities prior to treatment by Ion Exchange or by Reverse Osmosis. Coagulation, flocculation and clarification precede filtration.
Media Filters used in water & Waste water treatment are either pressure or gravity filters depending upon the flow of water. Water is pumped through a pressure filter while water flows by gravity in a gravity filter .They employ granular media like sand, anthracite or activated carbon either alone or in combination as the filter media
Ultra Filtration System
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a type of membrane filtration in which hydrostatic pressure forces a liquid against a semipermeable membrane. A semipermeable membrane is a thin layer of material capable of separating substances when a driving force is applied across the membrane. Once considered a viable technology only for desalination, membrane processes are increasingly employed for removal of bacteria and other microorganisms, particulate material, and natural organic material, which can impart color, tastes, and odors to the water.

Activated carbon filtration can effectively reduce certain organic compounds and chlorine in drinking water. It can also reduce the quantity of lead, dissolved radon, and harmless taste- and odor-causing compounds.

Catalytic Chlorine Dioxide
One of the most important qualities of chlorine dioxide is its high water solubility, especially in cold water. Chlorine dioxide does not hydrolyze when it enters water; it remains a dissolved gas in solution. Chlorine dioxide is approximately 10 times more soluble in water than chlorine. Chlorine dioxide can be removed by aeration or carbon dioxide. Catalytic Chlorine Dioxide can be used both for Pre and Post Treatment.
Ultraviolet radiation can be used as a pre-treatment or polishing step to sterilize and disinfect water. UV systems are typically used to pre-treat a water supply that is considered biologically unsafe (lake or sea water, well water, etc). The UV disinfection process is a non-chemical method for destroying microorganisms by altering their genetic material, and rendering them unable to reproduce. A TDS Meter indicates the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of a solution, i.e. the concentration of dissolved solids in it. Since dissolved ionized solids such as salts and minerals increase the conductivity of a solution, a TDS meter measures the conductivity of the solution and estimates the TDS from that.
A pH meter is an electronic device used for measuring the pH which is either the concentration of Hydrogen ions in an aqueous solution or the activity of the Hydrogen ions in an aqueous solution. The pH will indicate if the solution is acidic or basic, but is not a measure of acidity or alkalinity.
